Safety Language: Language added whenever a gift is restricted
In the event the purposes of the restriction, in the opinion of the Board of Directors of Greenpeace Fund, can no longer be served, the Board may devote any remaining assets exclusively for charitable purposes that: (a) are within the scope of the charitable purpose, (b) most nearly approximate the original purpose of the gift; and (c) benefits the charity.

Please note that Greenpeace International, Inc., a District of Columbia nonprofit corporation that was associated with Greenpeace Fund, was dissolved in December 2005. Greenpeace Fund was designated as Greenpeace International, Inc.'s successor in interest for charitable gifts. If you have previously executed documents directing charitable gifts to Greenpeace International, Inc., you should contact your legal advisor about updating the beneficiary's name to Greenpeace Fund, Inc.
